The bucket elevator consists of seven parts: head, tail, bucket chain, guide rail, casing, frame and catcher. The machine head includes a transmission system and a chain tightening device; the machine tail is the guiding device of the bucket chain, including the tail shaft, rollers and sliding bearings, etc.; the bucket chain is composed of a hopper and a chain plate; the safety device includes a safety pin and a catcher; The casing is a metal component welded by steel plates, with a channel steel skeleton in the middle to support the weight and make the component strong and durable. The chassis is installed on the rack. The rack is a welded component made of channel steel and angle steel. The chassis is fixed on the foundation and floor through the rack.
The angle of inclination of bucket elevator is generally 55 °-70 °. When the bucket elevator is used for dewatering the final product, the movement speed of the bucket chain is 0.16 m/s; when it is used for dewatering the rewashing product and circulating product, its movement speed is 0.27 m/s. Dewatering time: lump coal about 20~25s, end coal about 40~50s.
